'Thank you so much for looking after our daughter Grace during her early years. You provided a caring, safe and supportive environment not only for her but also us as parents. We have no hesitation in recommending your services and also asking you back should a future brother or sister come along!'

'I am now a mother of two gorgeous children, one aged 4 and a half and one just turned 3. When I became pregnant I suffered from constant morning sickness 24 hrs a day for the whole 9 months. Lieske was on hand to give me advice about what was the best thing to eat when feeling particularly bad and boy was the hint about ice pops and fruit ice lollies good when even drinks of orange juice made me sick. When I was thinking about my birth plan and mode of delivery she was very helpful telling me of her two birthing experiences. She helped me to feel at ease in telling the midwives what I wanted, though when the time came my idea of a water bath was scrapped as Anna came just at the time someone else had taken the bath, not to worry all went very well. I didn’t join the NCT and Lieske gave me a lot of handy practical advice e.g. putting flip flops for the shower in my hospital bag along with energy snacks. This helped me to feel more comfortable and more myself just when I needed it.
As soon as Anna (my first) was born, she had colic and once again Lieske came to the rescue, wow, what a difference! So much so that I was better prepared for my second child Charlotte's colic and she was so much the better for it. In the first few days of new parenthood Lieske didn’t mind a phone call plea for sanity. It was nice to know we weren’t the only parents to feel it was very quick changing from no responsibilities to having a totally dependent baby at home alone.
Handy hints about how to ease the second baby into the family with as little upset to the apple cart was a blessing, from having a present from the baby to her big sister to the time when green eyed monster sibling arrives around about the time baby gets more interesting to visitors. All makes sense when you’ve been through it but at the time Lieske’s knowledge and experience really reassured me and my husband and it still does. I now tell my friends hints she gave me.'

'Lieske’s knowledge and experience of baby care is very impressive. She is very practical, calm and confident which made it very easy to rely on her completely when our baby was very young. We all loved having her there and our baby was extremely happy and stimulated in her care. In those bewildering and exhausting first few months, Lieske was also extremely supportive to me personally. Her help enabled me to adjust quickly to the life change a baby brings – leaving me feeling confident and happy.'

'Lieske looked after my then 7 month old daughter once a week when I initially went back to work. Her sincere and caring personality meant that she was sensitive to Eleanor's (and my!)needs. Eleanor was extremely happy during her time with Lieske and her family, which was obvious in the fact that she never batted an eyelid when I left and I would return to collect a cheery, content little girl. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lieske's services to any expectant mums.'
